Non- Medical Home Care Services- Personal Care Assistant
Our Care Connect staff can assist our clients in their home environment and dedicate themselves to assisting individuals with daily activities such as using the bathroom, preparing or eating meals, executing hygiene and grooming habits, medication reminders, bathing, and completing housework or other chores.
Depending on the level of support provided, long-term caregiving can affect the caregiver’s physical and emotional health. Consider your loved one’s condition and your health and skills to determine whether in-home care is appropriate or if more specialized care is needed.
A caregiver cares for the health and well-being of someone who needs help with daily tasks and activities. Your aging loved one may need a caregiver because of an injury, mobility or memory issues, illnesses, or chronic conditions that make everyday chores more challenging.
Homemaking and Companionship Services
Homemakers and companions provide non-medical care to support the well-being of a person in their home. Homemakers and companions provide support by helping prepare meals and assisting with routine tasks.
Companion care is designed to help combat loneliness and encourage older adults to remain social and engage in activities of daily living. For example, if your loved one is in the proper physical shape, their caregiver may encourage them to accompany them on a walk around the block or a stroll through the park and more.
Homemaker services assist persons unable to perform one or more of the following activities of daily living: preparing meals, shopping for personal items, managing money, using the telephone, or doing light housework and more.
Our Team identifies various staff members as a potential match for you or your loved one. Our Team will set a time when you and or your loved one can meet our staff. We understand having someone in your home or with your loved one is a substantial change and takes time to adjust. Our staff is screened and multi-state background checked, and we are insured and bonded for your peace of mind.

The Virtual Dementia Tour® (VDT)
Care Connect, LLC offers Virtual Dementia Training to our communities free of charge. Anyone involved in the care of seniors will encounter individuals living with dementia. The insight provided by the Virtual Dementia Tour® (VDT) will alter perspectives and change the way your staff approaches caregiving. One significant result of using the VDT is a reduction in the use of psychoactive medication once the staff has a better understanding of expected dementia behavior. The Virtual Dementia Tour has also been lauded as the game-changer in helping staff understand what person-centered care entails. The bottom line is that residents’ quality of life will improve, and caregivers will benefit from a reduction in the number of challenging situations and an increased connection to those they serve. #VDTTOUR #careconnectllc #caregiversupport #dementiasupport #dementia
